Ora Thomas, 68, of Jonesville, VA formerly of Cawood, KY, passed away on February, 1, 2013 at the Lee Co. Regional Medical Center following a short illness. She was born January 27, 1945 at Cawood, Kentucky to the late Robert and Maude Nolan Seals. She was a certified nursing assistant and believed in the Church of God faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Edward Thomas, her two sons, Michael and James Thomas, and her brothers Franklin, Bobby Joe, Jim, Glenn, and Grant Seals.

Left to mourn her passing is her son, Bobby Wayne “Bo” Thomas and fiancée Paula Cox of Jonesville, VA, sisters, Betty Arvin of Mary Alice, KY, Laura King of Redbud, KY, Myrtle Brewer of Cawood, KY and Wilma Garrett of Cranks, KY, brothers-in-law, Jack Thomas of Speedwell, TN and Roy Thomas of Wallins, KY, special friends, Mozetta Young of Pennington Gap, VA, Dale Mitchell of Cranks, KY, and Daniel Neff of Cawood, KY.

Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 7, 2013 at 7PM in the chapel of Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Thomas officiating.
