The Cumberland Redskins downed visiting Harlan 10-1 in middle school baseball action on Tuesday.

Cameron Nease powered the Redskins on the mound. Nease recorded 10 strikeouts, while allowing five walks in the complete-game victory.
“I’m very proud of Cameron, he really gave a great performance on the mound today.” said Cumberland coach Silas Whitehead.
Hunter Nease lead the Redskins at the plate, Hunter Nease had two doubles, one walk and three RBI to pace the Cumberland offense.
“I’m so proud of Hunter, I’ve watched this young man grow in baseball from Tee-Ball to where is he now. He is a true leader on this team,” Whitehead said.

Noah Busroe recorded five strikeouts on the mound for Harlan. Busroe issued seven walks in five innings of work.
Austin Wilson had a single and a walk to lead Harlan at the plate. Wilson also scored the Dragons only run.
“Coach Powers has a powerful bunch of great kids, he does a great job with this program,” Whitehead said.

The Redskins return to action Saturday as they host Neon at noon.
