George Franklin “Frank” Harris, age 61 of Cumberland, KY passed away on Saturday, November 03, 2012, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. A native of Harlan County, he was born July 22, 1951 to the late Floyd and Isabelle Turner Harris. Frank worked as a truck driver and attended the Trinity Tabernacle Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Darrell Turner and Jerry Harris.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bowling Harris; son, Chris Harris and Wendy of Indiana; sisters, Charlotte Bailey, Ruth Boggs, and Faye Miniard; mother-in-law, Dora Bowling; sister-in-law, Betty Spohn; and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home in Benham on Tuesday, November 06, 2012, between 5 – 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 07, 2012, in the Chapel at 1 pm with the Reverend Billy Conn officiating. Interment will follow in the Lewis Family Cemetery at Hiram, KY.

Pallbearers will be members of the Short Arm Gang; Kenneth Tuttle, Don Bennett, Clayton Bailey, Gary Goins, Tony Edwards, and Willie Calton.
