Frank Antonio Vazzana, age 86 of Cumberland, KY passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at his residence. He was born in Lynch on July 13, 1926 to the union of the late Joseph Antonio and Mary Sexton Vazzana. Frank worked 22 years for Ford Motor Company in Indiana. He was a veteran of the Korean War, member of the VFW Post 5171, and believed in the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Willie Jewel Hall Vazzana; brothers, Carl Vazzana and George Vazzana; and a sister, Ella Mae Shepherd.

Frank is survived by his daughter, Alma Cornett and Alan of Cumberland; son, Buddy Deal of Cumberland; brother, Jimmy Ray Vazzana of Cumberland; sisters, Norma Brock and Fred of Cumberland, Helen Hulsey of Knoxville, TN, Rosa Dixon of La Grange, KY, and Juanitta Padgett of Baltimore, MD; grandson, Alan Cornett and Heather of Columbia, SC; great grandchildren, Maddox Alan and Luke Aaron Cornett; and a host of family and friends who were blessed to have known him.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home in Benham, KY on Monday, November 12, 2012, between 6 – 9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 11 am with the Reverend Roger Collinger officiating. Interment will follow in the Monte Vista Cemetery in Cumberland, KY with military rites at graveside.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be James Barnes and Earl Gothard.
