Mary Frances Trett, 73, of Jones Creek went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 6, 2012, at her home following a long illness. She was born February 24, 1939 in Harlan County and had lived here all of her life. Mary was a member of the Evarts Free Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Trett; her parents, Jim and Alice Perkins; two brothers, Robert and Frank Perkins.

Survivors include nine children, Patsy Bennett; Woodrow Fields and wife, Tammy; Susie Fields; James Fields and wife, Cathy; Robert Fields; Mike Fields; Jack Fields; Linda Fields; and Janice Fields; two brothers, Johnny Perkins and Ish Perkins; two sisters, Alice Wynn and Bobby Estes. Also surviving are a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, friends and loved ones.

Visitation will be held Friday after 4 PM at the Evarts Free Pentecostal Holiness Church until the funeral hour on Sunday.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 9, 2012, at 11 AM at the Evarts Free Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Reverend Woodrow Edward Allen Fields and the Reverend Lucas Huff officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
