Paul H. Kemplin, age 67 of Cumberland, KY passed away at his residence Tuesday, December 25, 2012. He was born March 07, 1945 to the late Olive and Nancy Gibson Kemplin in West Liberty, KY. Paul served in the United States Army and worked many years in the coal mining industry.

He is survived by his two daughters, Melissa Kemplin and Rachel Surber, both of Murfreesboro, TN; two grandchildren, Logan and Dalton Surber of Partridge, KY; three brothers and 4 sisters; and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 31, 2012, in the chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home between 11 am – 12 pm with a short funeral service at noon.
