AAU registration today

Registration will be held today for all those interested in playing in the Harlan County RAP AAU program at the old Loyall Elementary School gymnasium. Anyone who would like to coach, officiate or assist in any other way can contact Greg Coldiron at 859-420-1450 or Dondi Noah at 606-505-0013. Anyone with questions about the league or the league fee can contact Coldiron or Noah. The registration schedule includes: kindergarten and first-grade (9:00-10:30 a.m.); second- and third-grade (10:20-noon); fourth- and fifth-grade (12:00-1:30 p.m.); sixth and seventh-grade (1:30-3:00 p.m.).

Rosspoint defeats Evarts

Jared Sizemore fired in 17 points to lead Rosspoint to a 49-11 victory over Evarts in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action recently.

Nick Caldwell’s six points paced the Wildcats.

Joey Swanner recorded 16 points and Andrew Creech added 15 as Cumberland knocked off Cowan 42-36 in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action recently.
