Robert Neil Baumgardner, 90, of Cawood, KY passed away on January 10, 2013 at the Harlan Nursing Home, Harlan, KY after a long illness. He was born May 16, 1922 in Hennegar, VA to the late Benjamin and Mary Jane Green Baumgardner. Robert worked at a Shell service station as an attendant and was a World War ll veteran. He believed in the Pentecostal faith.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Georgia Johnson Baumgardner, one brother, Danzel Baumgardner, and one sister, Lila Baumgardner.

He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 5-7 PM at the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7PM. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
