Brenda Gail was born September 14, 1944 at Verda, KY to Clyde McMillian and Henrietta Howard McMillian. She was a homemaker and was saved in 1987 and became a member of the Cawood Church of God, she later moved her membership to the Harvest Worship Center.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde; infant son Ronald Edward Owens; grandmother, Cynda Howard; sister, Kathy Williams; nephew, Cody Skidmore.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Owens of Cawood; children, Michael (Joyce) Owens of Evarts, Melissa Owens of Cawood, and Sarah (Jeff) Kilgore of Wallins; grandchildren, Danielle, Ashley, Michelle, Gunnar, Tabitha, Ryan, Josh, and Landon; 7 brothers, Rodney (Connie) McMillian of Michigan, Greg (Lola) McMillian of Baxter, Grady McMillian of Cawood, Robert (Debbie) McMillian of Cawood, Randy (Patty) McMillian of Cawood, David (Karen) McMillian of Michigan, Mark McMillian of Utah; 2 sisters, Vanessa (Harold) Coots of Evarts, and Helen (Richard) Stewart of Cawood; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be after 5:00 pm Sunday March 3, 2013 at the Harvest Worship Center, Main St., Harlan and after 11:00 am Monday March 4, 2013 at the Cawood Church of God.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday March 4, 2013 at the Cawood Church of God with the Rev. Danny Overton & Rev. Roland “Bo” Lee officiating.
Burial will follow in the Irvin Cemetery at Cawood.
