Ader Eugene Shoaf, 85 of Harlan passed away March 10, 2013 at the Harlan ARH.

Ader was born February 3, 1928 in Knox Co., KY to the late Willie and Rhoda Lewallen Shoaf. He was a self employed painter for over 30 years, Veteran of the United States Army and served as a Corporal during the Korean War. He attended the Harlan/Sunshine Church of God.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by sisters, Evelyn Shoaf and Estelle Leija; brother, Ben Shoaf.

He is survived by his sister, Lois (Arthur) Lloyd of Teetersville; 2 nieces and 3 nephews; special friends, Carl Ed & Willa Jean Giles, Matt and Katrenia Taylor.

Visitation will be Tuesday March 12, 2013 from 5 until 7:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones with Rev. Nick Noe officiating.

OVERSET FOLLOWS:Graveside services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel with Military rites being observed by the Harlan Honor Guard.
