She is preceded in death by her husband, the late Lee Pinkerton, her parents John and Della Horton Sheffield, a son Phillip Pinkerton, two brothers, Kyle and Oliver Hall, three sisters, Ruth Johnson, Imo Creech, and Delphia Duncan.
She is survived by two brothers Charles Sheffield and wife Glenda, of Dione, KY, and Jack Sheffield and wife Pat of Totz, KY, and a daughter-in-law Pam Pinkerton of Bristol, TN.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the Glen Wood Cemetery in Bristol, TN.
