Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, David Yancy “DY” Combs and May Combs; one brother, David Yancy “DY” Combs, Jr.; one daughter, Tabatha Cloud; one uncle, Kelly Combs; sisters-in-law, Rossa Madden and Marie Cloud; brothers-in-law, Clarence Cloud and Henry Angel.
Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, George Cloud; one daughter, Ruby Griffith; one son, Stoney Cloud; one brother, Bill Combs and wife, Maye; special grandchildren who she raised, Brendan Blevins and husband, Denver, Breanna Cloud, Sierra Griffith and David Griffith, all of Evarts; Stoney Cloud, Jr., Middlesboro; two nieces, Marlena Powers and husband, Leonard; Billie Renee Blevins and husband, Michieal, Evarts; two special great grandbaby, Tabatha Blevins and Olivia Gilley; a special son-in-law; Roger Cloud; a special friend Missy Farley; two aunts Alberta Combs and Arcle Combs, both of Smith; and a host of other family and friends including nine nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday after 6 PM at the Bailey’s Creek Holiness Church.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, August 16, 2012, at 2 PM at the Bailey’s Creek Holiness Church with the Reverend James Middleton and Reverend Tommy Saylor officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cloud Family Cemetery at Kenvir, KY.
Pallbearers will be Doug Middleton, Roger Cloud, Denver Blevins, Leonard Powers, David Griffith, Billy Combs and Leonard Powers, Jr.
