Dana (Buddy) Eversole, age 57 of Partridge, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 08, 2012, at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born January 31, 1955 to the late John and Nannie Williams Eversole in Letcher County, KY. He was a coal miner and retired with US Steel and Arch of Kentucky. Dana was a member of the Blair Chapel and the UMWA Local 7425.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James (Dugan) Eversole.

He leaves behind his childhood sweetheart and loving wife of 39 years, Nona Gail Boggs Eversole; his son, Brian (Nicole) Eversole of Partridge; two grandchildren, Connor and Adan Eversole of Partridge; two brothers, Robert Eversole of Partridge and Ronnie (Joyce) Eversole of Chesterton, IN; three sisters, Winfred Eversole Parrott of Partridge, Judy (Joe) Hubbs of Partridge, and Phyllis (Jim) Baccino of Highland, IN; and host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, between 6 -9 pm with a short service being led by Jimmy Jenkins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 1 p.m., with the Reverend Rod Raleigh and Reverend Billy Conn officiating. Interment will follow in the Eversole - Bowling Cemetery in Partridge.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Boggs, Roger Boggs, Rickie Boggs, Mike Hubbs, Wayne Parrott, and Jason Walzer. Honorary pallbearers are Dell Boggs, Tom Hubbs, Joe Hubbs, Richard Boggs, Gary Boggs, David Boggs, Chris Shepherd and nephews.
