Lorena Huff Craiger, age 94 of Lynch, KY, departed this earthly life on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. Lorena was one of nine children born to the union of Elisha T. Huff and Sarah Frances Huff. Her fondest memories were of her life growing up on the family farm in Blair, KY. Lorena was a retired school teacher and church treasurer for many years at the Lynch Baptist Church, where she also taught Sunday school. The last years of her life she was a member of the Blair Chapel at Blair, KY. She was a loving Christian wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who devoted her life to her family.

She was the widow of Edgar D. Craiger and was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Talmadge Huff, Kermit Huff, Denver Huff, Chester Huff and John Huff; and her sisters, Gola Ball, Florence Huff and Thelma Wilson.

She is survived by her children, Dennis (Rita) Craiger of Spearfish, SD, Mary Lynn (Jim) Jackson of Bethlehem, GA and Rebecca (Greg) Gluck of Lynch, KY; her grandchildren, Candace (Shay) Free, Loreyn (Joe) Eldridge and Greg (Krystal) Gluck, Jr.; and her great children, Cullen Allen, Griffen Allen, Joey Eldridge and Emily Eldridge.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012, from 6 – 8 pm at the Tri City Funeral Home where the funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at 1 pm with the Revered Rod Raleigh officiating. Interment will follow in the DL Creech Cemetery in Blair. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
