Matthew Alexander Carroll, 11 months old, was called home to be with Jesus on Friday, September 7, 2012. He was born September 28, 2011 in Harlan, KY. His parents are Matthew and Amanda Carroll of Cranks, KY.

Alex is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Bascom “Biscuit” Carroll of Cranks, KY, Jeannie Carroll and Dale Mitchell of Cranks, KY; his maternal grandparents, Larry and Lisa Blevins of Grays Knob, KY; his great-grandmother, Margie Hall of Cranks, KY; great grandparents, Jack and Margie Shepherd of Elcomb, KY and John L. and Coretta Mitchell of Cranks, KY; his uncle Mark Carroll of Cranks, KY; his aunt April Peterson and husband Brad of Treemont, KY; and a special great uncle and aunt, Tony and Mary Lou Gentry of Cranks, KY. Many cousins and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at the Napier Family Cemetery in Cranks, KY.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 from 12 o’clock noon until the funeral hour at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
