Gearld was born Oct. 6, 1962 in Harlan to the Maurice and Margaret Neal Hoskins. He worked for UPS and believed in the Baptist Faith.
He is preceded in death by his father, Maurice Hoskins; grandparents, Dallas and Mary Hoskins of Loyall, and Robert and Nellie Neal of Wallins.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Neal Hoskins of Concord, NC; his, wife, Mary Ann Hoskins; children, Chelsea, Nathan, Danya Hoskins all of Rutlege, TN; his brother, Maurice Clinton “Clint” Hoskins and wife Linda Hunter Hoskins of Kannapolis, NC; he leaves a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Small private family services were held.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to The Fellowship Center, 1901 Clinch Ave., Knoxville, TN 37916 in memory of Gearld.
