Brenda Morris, age 64 of Cumberland, Kentucky passed away on January 2, 2013. Born May 11, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Maxie Morris of Cumberland, KY. As a speech therapist for the Harlan County Board of Education and director of adult education/GED at KCTCS, Brenda dedicated her life to education and was a positive influence on many lives. She was also a member of the Cumberland United Methodist Church.

Brenda is survived by two children, Cathy Gluck Fuller and husband, Scott Fuller, of Corbin, KY and Jay Gluck of Morristown, TN; two grandchildren, Jacob Fuller and Eli Fuller of Corbin, KY; four sisters, Mildred Taylor, Wilma Gibson, Delores Davis, and Patricia Scopa; three brothers, Luther Morris, Raymond Morris, Eddie Morris and the late Kenny Morris; nieces and nephews and many friends and colleagues.

The family will receive friends in the chapel at Tri-City Funeral Home in Benham, KY on Saturday, January 5, 2013, from noon until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery at Hiram, KY.

A reception for family and friends will be held at the Benham Schoolhouse Inn following the burial.
