Damiano Delaney, 30 of Harlan, Ky, went home to be with the lord on Feb 16, 2013. He was born on August 15th, 1982 to Nikki Delaney and Joe Davenport both of Lexington. He was a 2002 graduate of Harlan High School. Dami was a loving father, son and friend who loved to be with his children.

Those Dami leaves to mourn his passing besides his parents are, his children; Dasia Delaney, Daniya Delaney both of Harlan and Kaleb Helton of Green Co., KY; 2 brothers, Russell West of Harlan and Miami of Lexington; Sisters, Keshia Barnes of Lexington, Latosha Delaney of Lexington, Deja Davenport of Virginia and Whitney Davenport of Louisville. He also leaves to mourn, his long time girlfriend and best friend, Stephanie Shepherd of Harlan and maternal grandmother, Shirley Delaney of New Jersey; aunt, Denise Sanford of Lexington.

Visitation will be 12 – 2:00pm Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Homegoing services for Dami will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, Feb 23, 2013 in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith.

Pallbearers will be long time friends Clarence Major and Jamie Jacobs, father Joe Davenport and Uncle Nick Sanford.
