Kimberly Marie Napier Richards, 47 of Harlan passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at her home.

Kim was proudly born to Harold and Patricia Napier on February 3, 1966 in Glendale, CA. She lived in Harlan most of her life. She left this world to reunite with her father.

Besides her father she is preceded in death by her brother, Joe Napier; sister, Melissa Napier; paternal grandfather, Lloyd Napier; maternal grandparents, John and Edith Dorough.

Her time on Earth was spent being an incredible mother to William Carden Richards, Lindsey Ann Richards and Sarah Grace Kidnocker, and loving wife to Robert David Richards. Kim enjoyed working with her father at Harolds Body Shop for seventeen years. She also enjoyed working for Larry Lee and his family, she so loved his mother, Bobbie, up until she passed. She will be remembered for her laugh, beauty, and compassionate heart. She was an absolutely amazing woman and no words could do her justice.

Her legacy lives through her children, Carden, Lindsey and Sarah; her husband, Bob; mother, Patricia Napier; siblings: Dawn (Rick) Wichman; Michael (Paula) Napier; Michelle (Eric) Weaver; Shawna (Glenn) Blevins; Misty (Charlie) Rhymer. She’s also survived by a special mother-in-law, Gladys Richards; sister-in-law, Judy Richards; paternal grandmother, Pauline Parker Napier; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins she loved immensely, and many friends including special friends: Michelle Talley, Michelle Moore Buchanan, and Cathy Lee.

Visitation will be Wednesday March 13, 2013 from 6 until 9:00 p.m. at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Harlan with the Rev. Kyle Burnette officiating.

Burial will follow in the Napier Cemetery of Bledsoe, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Dusty Richards, Rick Wichman, Colton Wichman, Jim Napier, Chris Napier, Shane Worthington, Cannon Moore, Kennon Napier and Jacob Napier.
