Mary Elizabeth Poore Bennett was born May 22, 1940 in Briceville, TN and went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 17, 2013, at her home in Lejunior.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Randall Bennett; her son, Keith Douglas Bennett; her parents, Hoy and Ruby Miller Poore; five brothers, Leon, Junior, James, Jerry and Robert Poore.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Ann Wynn and husband, Edward, of Evarts; her son, Jack Randall Bennett, Jr. of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Stephen Wynn and wife, Rita; Whitney Wynn Owens and husband, Jason; Jaquie Bennett and Allen Bennett; and four great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters, Opal Witt, Lejunior; Sue Sanders and husband, James, Lejunior; Linda Bates and husband, Roy, Bulls Gap, TN; one brother, Bobby Poore of Church Hill, TN; and a host of family and friends who loved her.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 until 8 pm at the Evarts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday, March 21, 2013, in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home with the Reverend James Sanders and Brother Arnold Sanders officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with her family serving as pallbearers.
