Doris Ann “De” Brock, 64, of Wallins, went to her Heavenly Home on Monday, March 18, 2013 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 18, 1948 in Harlan County and had lived here all of her life. De was a devoted Christian of the Pentecostal faith, who would pray for anyone at any time or place. She was a hard worker for the Lord and was known to be a woman filled with the holy ghost.

De was preceded in death by her father, Dewey E. Osborne; and a brother, Tony Osborne.

Survivors include the love of her life for 30 years, her husband, Lee Edward Brock, of Wallins; her mother, Eulah Lee Arvin, of Harlan; her daughter, Kimberly Ellis, and her grandson, Jonmichael Ellis, of Melbourne, FL; two sisters, Wanda Fanning of Vero Beach, FL; Linda Baker and husband Rocky, of Putney; and a brother, Larry Osborne and wife Jannis, and daughter Rachel, of Mary Alice.

She is also survived by her “second momma,” Flossie Farmer of Wallins; and by her “second baby,” Felicia Lynn Rigney.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Wednesday evening at Harlan Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Thursday at the funeral home with the Reverend Russell Gilbert officiating.

Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Danny Ball, Dewey Cole, Jimmy Gross, Johnathan Mutschler, Ryan Cole and Thomas Conley.
