John Luther “Monk” Falls, age 55, of Cumberland, KY was born April 29, 1957 and passed from this life on March 18, 2013. John had returned to Cumberland after living several years in Michigan and Lexington, KY. He was a member of the Cumberland United Methodist Church.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Arlee Yeary Falls of Cumberland.

He is survived by his three children, Tyler Falls, Bryan Falls (fiancé, Julie Piechocki) and Hollie Falls of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Kairea, Conner, and Aleigha; brother, Robert “Monk” Falls (Tina) of Benham; sisters, Ann Boggs (Verial) and Ernestine Sergent (Ira) of Cumberland, Jo Worley (James) of Augusta, GA, and Cora Robbins (Phillip) of Maryville, TN; special friend, Vicki Ramirez of Lexington, KY; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home in Benham, KY on Thursday, March 21, 2013, between 5 – 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 7 pm in the chapel on Thursday, March 21, 2013, with Pastor Jody Vansickle officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013, in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY.

Anyone wishing to follow the funeral procession to the interment may meet at the Tri City Funeral Home at 10:30 am on Friday, March 22, 2013.
